The newly-renovated Montserrat Audiovisual Room has 3 areas to explore: the mountain, the monastery, and the sanctuary. Here, learn about the historical significance of Montserrat.
The Museum of Montserrat is home to work by Caravaggio, El Greco, Rusiñol, Casas, Picasso, Dali, Monet, and others. It also has a valuable collection of the Archaeology of the Ancient World with artifacts from the Near East. Explore the museum’s temporary exhibitions and permanent collections.
The Basilica is home to the image of the Virgin of Montserrat. When there are no liturgical events taking place, listen to the Escolania Boy Choir here, one of the oldest music schools in Europe, at your own additional expense.
